Finally got round to making sure we can function off-grid during the long grey days of winter in the deep south. To compliment our 2x 12v 135amp/hr lithium ion batteries (270amp/hr) we installed over a year ago.
-I just added 2x 130w folding solar panel that plug straight into the side of the moho through a dedicated MPPT.
– Victron 12|12-30amp DC-DC Charger and a Victron 12|12-18amp DC-DC Charger (48amps/hr on vehicle engine).
– A MATSON 1500w Inverter with remote on/off switch and fault indicator.
– A 12v 0.45amp extractor fan with manual on/of switch and backup thermostat switch which automatically comes on if temperature in power box reaches 50 degrees Celsius.
– A dual 240v socket for the gally from the inverter.
– – A 12v 280 lumen LED Bar Light above the galley. (Big difference for the cook)
– Power cut off Toggle to the power box
– A 12v multi-fuse box.
– A 60amp manual reset breaker.
